چکیده
Background: Globally, tuberculosis is the leading cause of death. India accounts for highest proportion drug resistant among all other countries. Objectives: This study investigated changes in hematological parameters with respect to radiological evidences multidrug patients. Materials and Methods: The enrolled a total 273 patients confirmative diagnosis tuberculosis. were classified into mild, moderate severe lung involvement. Results: chest radiographs illustrated tracheal deviation (74), loss volume (35), pleural effusion (25), lobar collapse fibrotic manifestations. defensive leucocytes, phagocytic neutrophils, anucleated platelet cells observed an increase grading (p<0.0001). Reduced lymphocyte count, mean size intense Prevalence normocytic, normochromic anemia, anisocytosis was prominent these erythrocyte sedimentation rate no significant categorized grades lung. Radiological reported weak positive correlation parameters. Conclusion: noticed complete blood count signs recommend monitoring investigations determining progression involvement pulmonary

Study of HIV seroprevalence in Pulmonary Tuberculosis Patients with Special Reference to Multidrug Resistant Mycobacteria
This study was planned to determine HIV seroprevalence among pulmonary tuberculosis patients, to characterize the isolated mycobacteria into typical and atypical strains and to evaluate the drug resistant pattern of mycobacterial isolates. The study aims to correlate multidrug resistance (MDR) and HIV seropositivity status in pulmonary tuberculosis patients. During the year 1994-1997, 750 pulmo...
